Whatnot UK shipping profiles for clothing
On Whatnot UK, every listing needs a shipping profile, and for clothing that's a weight band. Pick too light and the label may not cover the parcel; pick too heavy and buyers pay more postage than they should. Here's the full list and which band each garment usually goes in.

Which band for which garment
These are the typical bands for a single item, packed. They're the defaults ResellIQ uses.
- Leggings: 100 to <250 grams
- T-shirts, tops, vests, shirts, polos, shorts, skirts: 250 to <500 grams
- Jumpers, hoodies, sweatshirts, quarter zips, cardigans, trousers, joggers, cargos: 500 to <750 grams
- Jeans, jackets, fleeces, gilets, blazers: 750 grams to <1 KGs
- Coats, puffers, parkas, overcoats, trench coats: 1 KGs to <2 KGs
When to go up a band
- Heavy fabric: denim (other than jeans, which already allow for it), wool, down, heavyweight or fleece-lined
- Size: XXL and bigger knitwear or outerwear
- Anything you're unsure about: weigh it in its packaging
Trainers and shoes
Whatnot UK also has shoe-box profiles, such as single small and medium shoe boxes, heavier boxes for chunky pairs like Jordan 4s, boots, and shoes without a box. Until you've confirmed which ones your account can use, the 1 KGs to <2 KGs band is a safe choice for a boxed pair.
Numbered slots
Running a rail of numbered listings ('Medium #1' to '#30')? Give each size group a band that covers its heaviest likely item. A common split is Small on 250 to <500 grams, Medium on 500 to <750 grams, Large on 750 grams to <1 KGs and XL on 1 KGs to <2 KGs.
Letting ResellIQ pick
ResellIQ reads what each item is (the noun, never the brand) and assigns the band, bumping heavy fabrics and oversized knitwear. If it can't tell, it flags the row as guessed so you can check it. The free Whatnot CSV generator applies the same bands to numbered slots.
